Currently, numerous events revolve around the hydrogen value chain. CIDAUT, as a relevant actor in this sector, has had an outstanding participation in several of these meetings.
Our colleagues Luis Aldea and Adrian Martin were at the Hannover Messe fair. The 2024 edition, held April 22-26 in Hannover, Germany, brought together global industry leaders to showcase innovations in technology, automation, and sustainable energy solutions. This year, the focus was on digitalization, Industry 4.0, and renewable energies, with a special focus on the development of the hydrogen value chain. The fair provided a platform for knowledge sharing and networking, attracting thousands of exhibitors and visitors from all over the world.
Continuing with the events, on May 20, a webinar organized by Bluetree titled «Hydrogen in Spain: From Theory to Action» took place. José Ignacio Domínguez, Hydrogen Project Director at CIDAUT, participated as one of the main speakers. During the event, the potential of hydrogen as a solution for the energy transition and the electrification of the Spanish industry was explored, with a focus on hybridization with renewable energies such as photovoltaics and wind power, and technical and economic aspects of these projects were discussed.
To conclude the series of events around the hydrogen value chain, Henar Olmedo attended the External Scientific Advisory Committee meeting of the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Community at UPM on June 5. UPM representatives presented the activities carried out, upcoming activities, and collaboratively worked on identifying and discussing areas of cooperation in hydrogen and fuel cell research with all the external members who attended the meeting.
CIDAUT will closely follow the events that may take place around the hydrogen value chain contributing its vision and knowledge and working to boost this chain as intended in ours AIHRE and H2ENRY projects.
